Richer KakaoTalk card previews and easier search and bookmarking
Overview
Business cards shared through KakaoTalk can now include more information in the preview image. You can also bookmark and share cards directly from search results and manage visibility settings more easily from My business cards.
Expected benefits
- Recipients can see your name, organization and selected contact details alongside your photo.
- You can bookmark or share a search result without opening a separate card page.
- Each card version’s visible fields and search availability are easier to manage.
Feature updates
- Improved KakaoTalk share images
- Your name, company or organization, team and position appear below the main photo. - In the card editor’s Contacts and links section, you can select up to two items to include in the share image. - Selected items follow the order set in the editor. - Naver Maps and private items cannot be included.
- Bookmark and share from search results
- Bookmark and share buttons are now available on card search results. - Clicking a card photo opens the public card in a new tab.
- Version settings in My business cards
- Use each version’s settings button to change its visible fields and whether it can appear in card search. - View and share actions are also available for each version.
- Easier navigation and bookmark management
- Shared navigation tabs connect Manage cards, My business cards, Bookmarked business cards and Card analytics. - The tabs also link to the card editor and wrap onto multiple lines on smaller screens. - Saved business cards has been renamed Bookmarked business cards. - Removing a card from your bookmarks now asks for confirmation. The original card is not deleted.
Bug fixes
- Transparent main photos now use a white background in KakaoTalk share images instead of appearing black.
- Text sizes and spacing in share images have been adjusted for better readability.
- Share dialog buttons now appear one per row to prevent cramped labels and awkward wrapping on small screens.
- View card and bookmark buttons have more consistent sizing and borders, and the mobile language switcher matches the other header buttons.
- List markers and heading levels are clearer in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese announcements.
