Business card editing and sharing are easier, now with Japanese support
Overview
We’ve made it easier to create, edit, share, and find business cards. Platform screens, announcements, and business cards are now also available in Japanese.

- A starter card and version are ready when you open the editor for the first time.
- It’s easier to align entries and fill missing content across Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese versions.
- Public business cards can be viewed without an announcement pop-up interrupting the experience.
- Cards whose owners allow search can be found more accurately with multiple search terms.
- If saving fails, it’s easier to keep your work and try again.
Feature updates
- A starter card and card version are prepared when you first open the editor. New cards follow the
New Card - 000001naming format. - You can duplicate a card or reset its content. Your only card cannot be deleted, and deleting another card requires you to confirm its name.
- Adding, removing, or reordering tags and introduction items updates the corresponding positions in other language versions. A placement preview appears while dragging.
- You can clear certain text fields across all language versions after confirmation. You can also copy the current entry to other languages or your clipboard, and translate selected entries. Manually copying to other languages may overwrite existing content.
- When you open or save a card, blank localized content is filled from existing text in Korean → English → Chinese → Japanese priority. Content you’ve already written is preserved; the original text is not translated automatically.
- Japanese is now available for platform screens, announcements, and business cards. If existing announcements or cards have no Japanese content, text from another language can be used as the starting value.
- Sharing controls and contact links on public cards have been improved. Email addresses, phone numbers, and websites open in the appropriate way when clicked, and Naver Maps can be interacted with directly.
- Multiword card searches require every term to match. For example,
Gangnam Benzrequires both terms to match. Only cards whose owners allow search appear in results. - The saved-cards view is simpler to manage, and announcement pop-ups no longer appear on public business card pages.
Bug fixes
- A failed save no longer takes you away from the editor. When available, your edits remain as a draft in the current browser tab so you can try again.
- Fixed new cards not appearing in the list after saving, and save errors being shown twice through both a dialog and a toast.
- Fixed the bottom of long cards being cut off when saved as images.
- Fixed captions entered during video upload disappearing after the upload completed.
- Fixed a broken KakaoTalk sharing icon and drag gestures ending unexpectedly on mobile.
- Fixed differences between the preview and public card, as well as missing Naver Maps controls on some public cards.
- Improved Japanese text that overflowed cards or sections on narrow screens.
- Active sessions are kept signed in, and after a session expires you can return to the page you were viewing once you log in again.
